If you’ve taken a stroll recently down West Van Buren Street in Columbia City, you’ve probably noticed the new businesses popping up and bringing more life to our downtown.

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (August 3, 2016) – Locally based Impact CNC, LLC, a production machining company, announced plans today to expand its operations at the location in Gateway Industrial Park, adding 10 additional jobs.

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (July 26, 2016) – Locally based Impact CNC, LLC, a production machining company, announced plans today to expand its operations, and add nine new jobs this fall.

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind.  (July 21, 2016) – The Whitley County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and the City of Columbia City recently announced that Chapman’s Brewing Company is expanding its operations and adding a brewery and taproom location in downtown Columbia City.

The EDC is launching the fifth cohort of the EDC Venture Accelerator program this June. The Venture Accelerator program is a 10-week intensive program of one-on-one coaching and mentoring from EDC Small Business Coach Steve Franks.
