TWO LOCAL MANUFACTURERS NAMED ‘FASTEST GROWING COMPANIES IN AMERICA’ BY INC. MAGAZINE

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (November 3, 2016) – Locally based Impact CNC, LLC, a production machining company, and trailer manufacturer Novae Corporation, were recently named to Inc. Magazine’s list of ‘5,000 Fastest Growing Companies in America.’

Impact CNC is located at 1380 S. Williams Drive in Gateway Industrial Park, and also has a second location at 802 E. Short Street in Columbia City. The company shares ownership with PDQ Tooling, which designs and manufactures custom indexable cutting tools for the production machining industry, and PDQ Workholding, a manufacturer of hydraulic fixtures and workholding solutions for the CNC machining industry.

Impact CNC was not only named one of the Top 5,000, it was ranked number 50 on the list, and the second fastest-growing privately held manufacturing company in America.

Just a few months ago, Impact CNC announced it was investing $5.3 million to expand its operations at both facilities in Whitley County. From this project, the company will add 19 new jobs.

Inc. Magazine describes the privately held companies on its nationwide list as “The 5,000 superheroes of the U.S. economy…wielding powers like strategy, service and innovation.”

Along with Impact CNC, local business Novae Corporation also made the list. Novae was established in 1995 in Markle, Indiana, and has become one of the largest trailer manufacturers in America – known for its Sure-Trac trailers. In 2013, Novae expanded its operations to Whitley County, and completely renovated the former Dana facility on Ellsworth Street in Columbia City. Since then, the company has continued to grow. Novae was first named a fastest-growing privately held company by Inc. Magazine in 2006, and has made the list each year since then.
