IMPACT CNC EXPANDING AGAIN AT LOCATION IN GATEWAY INDUSTRIAL PARK

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (August 3, 2016) – Locally based Impact CNC, LLC, a production machining company, announced plans today to expand its operations at the location in Gateway Industrial Park, adding 10 additional jobs.

Last week, Impact CNC announced it was expanding its operations at the Short Street location in Columbia City, and investing $2.1 million in new machinery. The company announced it would also expand its facility at 1380 S. Williams Drive, and add a new production line, investing an additional $3.2 million.

“We are pleased to be expanding once again in Whitley County,” said Impact CNC Founder and Owner Jerry Busche, “The business climate is second to none in Whitley County, and it’s humbling to receive such great support from community and government officials. This support continues to motivate us to be good corporate citizens, along with becoming an important part of the community.”

The company will add an additional 25,000 square feet to the building, and manufacturing equipment such as mills, lathes and machining centers.

“We are lucky to have such a great company in Whitley County that continues to invest in our community and our workers,” said EDC President Jon Myers.

Whitley County approved $50,000 in CEDIT-based incentives, and 10-year tax abatement for real estate improvements, and new machinery and equipment at the request of the Whitley County EDC.

“Given Impact CNC’s record of investment in the skills of its employees, I see our support for the company as support for our local workers and their families,” said Whitley County Commissioner George Schrumpf.

Impact CNC is currently hiring at both locations. Interested applicants should apply at www.impactcnc.net.
